Day 1 – Newcastle to Barrington Tops

Kick off the adventure climbing into the Barrington Tops — winding roads, single trail, crisp mountain air, and lush forest riding set the scene for what’s to come. We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Newcastle on the morning of the tour, so you’ll need to arrive the day before. From there we head to the Ranch MX facility, where we gear up, run through the rider briefing, and you’ve got the option to spin a few laps on the national-level MX track before we hit the trail. We stay in accommodation in Gloucester.

Day 2 – Barrington Tops to Long Flat (via The Cells)

A raw and rugged ride through The Cells, a remote wilderness packed with convict and bushranger history. River crossings and wild terrain lead us to the classic country stop of Long Flat. Camping on the river at the Long Flat Pub.

Day 3 – Long Flat to The Pub With No Beer

Ride across the Kindee Swinging Bridge, winding through the lush valley into Beechwood, before crossing the Hastings River Ferry and soaking up the salt air along the Point Plomer Track. Sandy coastal trails hug the water’s edge all the way to Hat Head, before a growing thirst calls you back inland — straight to the legendary Pub With No Beer where we will stay in accomodation.

Day 4 – Taylors Arm to Dalmorton

The ride turns historic as we journey through the gold rush country near Grafton. Trails dotted with relics of the past carry us into the remote settlement of Dalmorton. Tonight we camp out under the stars with a bush camp cook up.

Day 5 – Dalmorton to Kyogle

From gold-rush tracks to mountain passes, today’s ride winds north through rugged backroads and open farmland toward Kyogle — a scenic country town nestled in the foothills of the Border Ranges. A mix of fast dirt and tight forest sections makes this one of the most rewarding riding days of the trip. Tonight we stay in accomodation in a pub with ten pin bowling.

Day 6 – Kyogle to Tweed Heads

A spectacular final run north through the hinterland, rivers, and winding ridges before rolling into Tweed Heads. The ocean breeze and that first glimpse of the coast mark the perfect end to an incredible week in the saddle.
